Enough with this 1A/1B garbage where we pretend Crow is a starter. Just make Lehner the starting goalie and let it be known this is Crow's swan song in Chicago (and probably his career's swan song as well)

Crow deserves all the kudos in the world for 2 Cups, but after several concussions he just doesn't have it.

Eaaaaaaasssy, there.

Let’s see how Crow looks a month from now before we push him out the door.

They will give Lehner plenty of starts to ease into his eventual #1 role.

Crow is physically done. He's 34 years old with at least 3 serious concussions since March 2016. He's a useful back-up on this team, but it's time to dispense with the idea he is a #1 after what he has physically gone through

Lehner was the 2nd best goalie in the entire NHL last year. It's time for him to start.

34 isn't old for a goalie.

It is when you've suffered 3 major concussions in less than 3 years.

I asked a psychologist friend to look at his interviews during the hawks convention. She said he was looking depressed and definitely on some type of medication.

All our hockey heroes have been either drunk or on cocaine.

Gotta ride with the post-concussed hand...

I've been with you on this train since early 2018.

In the 2017-2018 season...Crawford was out with a severe concussion where he was having "vertiigo-like" symptoms. There was much speculation at the time it was rehab.

Crawford returned. When he got the concussion in the 2018-2019 season.....AND THEN CAME BACK....that confirmed (IMO) 2017-18 was in fact rehab. There's no way he had that bad of a concussion....came back next season got another concussion and is still able to play.

Regardless....as you said....Crawford was elite for a time, but that's gone. He's DONE.

The rumors are, McDouche is behind Crow getting these starts. If that this the case, what was the point behind signing Lehner?

Depression is a very common symptom of post-concussion syndrome.

Corey Crawford looking great with that .875 sv% and 4.63 GAA

Fuck you John McDonough for putting nostalgia above all else. This is why we're saddled with Seabrook for eternity.

Why is McCubbiedouche still around? The Hawks don't need his 1990's marketing anymore. They need to not suck. He did a great job of bringing this team back from siberia but that job was completed many years ago. I do not need to see the old timers game and remember the good ol days everytime this shitshow defense takes the ice. McDouche, Keith, Seabs and crow can hang their names from the rafters and then piss off.

Okay, Crawford got to start the season opener and the home opener. That was gracious. He can be a backup now.

Keith and Seabs will piss off for a couple of years and then come back like Sharp, Versteeg, Shaw and Saad.

The sad part is the large portion of the fan base that came on board after 2009 eating the nostalgia shit up with a spoon. The Hawks once had the smartest fan base in town by far. No more.

To paraphrase Anna Karenina, all fanbases are stupid in their own way.

Will Seabrook part 2 be fatter and slower or the same as now?

Sure he deserves to start, but he has ONE good season in the NHL since 2010. He is not the long term answer.

In 252 career starts, Lehner has posted a .918 career sv%

What would you guess Corey Crawford's career sv% is? Would it shock you if I told you it is also .918?

So yes, being 5 years younger, I'd say Lehner certainly is the long term answer. Even behind this dogshit D he has a .922 sv%

Exactly. The defense looked like dogshit last night...but let's blame the goaltender because he didn't stand on his head. It's as stupid as blaming a QB for getting sacked when the O-Line looks like a fucking turnstyle

Crawford has started almost double the amount of games as Lehner so comparing their save percentage is not completely relative.... also Crawfords career GAA is way better.

Until you understand and acknowledge how bad those Ottawa and Buffalo teams were, you're not going to get it. It's not apples to apples. You could put GOAT goalies on those teams and their numbers would be bed.

.922 with this injured, incompetent, molasses-slow blue line is downright heroic.
