Telling phrase being:

I feel like I still got a lot to offer in this league and still be a good player for somebody

maybe he'll waive his NMC for the expansion draft

Scratching him has been one of Colliton's few good moves though.

I thank him for all he has done. We'll raise his number in 5 years and try to only remember him as he was up until June 2015.

You can complain and desire to go but you should give up the A then. Can't be like this and expect to be a leader.

He should look at the game film from Saturday and say that this is deserved, because honestly it is.

I sort of get it. He was a great player, well liked, and important part of the championships and I'm thankful to him. I might be salty if I were him.

BUT he has been horrid the last few years. Like, doesn't look like he wants to be out there at all. I can't count the times I've yelled Seabrook, you fat slow dumbass! If he has a lot to offer then offer it otherwise sit down and shut up. You don't want to be a healthy scratch, play better! What have you done for me lately, Miss Jackson if you're nasty!

Especially if you put beans in your chili.

But seriously. When he got benched Sunday, people on Facebook had 2 reactions in the comment section on NBC Sports Chicago. Either mine, or the typical fair weather fan that thinks he should keep playing because of how good he was 5 years ago.

It's like half the fandom in this stupid city is made up of people who build rosters like Kenny Williams.

Fuckin' A!

I want to watch a hockey game with you. Especially if the Hawks are losing.

Worst contract in hockey. Good luck to all parties.

Seriously, though. No one is taking that contract. They're stuck with the money whether he retires or they sit him. Might as well keep him on the bench.

Sure. It's so weird experiencing the frustration and disappointment. My entire hawk fandom has been blissful to this point. It gets me going.

You'll have plenty of opportunities to watch games where the Hawks are losing this year. Team will be eliminated from playoffs by January. Watched the kid Dach play last night and get pushed around like any 18 year old would when he was playing with grown as men and kept thinking any organization that had quality NHL depth would let the kid mature another year. DeBrincat actually tried to clear a guy out from the front of the net and was swatted aside like a 4'9" 130 pound forward will always be swatted aside by a legit NHL power forward, but at least he tried and wasn't watching like the rest of his teammates. There is really no reason to watch this team the rest of the year unless your a hockey masochist.

Seabrook is only 34? Damn, it seems like he should be at least 40. I haven't watched hockey in a few years. So over it and ever sport besides football.
