Will start in December then end when? and then how are they going to schedule the 2021-2022 season? Did they decide to shorten the 2020-21 season?

It's nice to hear Pat Foley again. The empty stadium is weird. I miss the red sweaters.

He's a decent player but he's only 5'10. Saw it might be a salary dump. If Saad won't take less than 6m to re-sign, then trade him but try to get at least a pick out of someone.

Apparently we have offered Crawford a 1 year deal worth 3 million.

The Hawks do not need any more centers. The Hawks should trade Saad but not for Domi.

Anything worth talking about there before 2023?

This team is not really worth paying attention to for the foreseeable future.

Hockey is hockey. Some of us watch for the love of the Hawks, some are just bandwagon fans.

I am surprised that they brought back Subban. 2 years for 1.7M total.

Hockey is hockey so I will be paying attention to interesting teams. During Crawford's lost season I continued to watch every Hawks game because that is what I became conditioned to do. Then the playoffs started and I realized how awful those Hawk games were and what I was missing out by watching uninspired hockey. Never again will I commit myself to watching bad hockey. Sure, I'll pay attention to what they are doing and still end up watching my fair share of Hawk games depending on the opponent but they are no longer my main source of hockey entertainment.

It all wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have possibly the worst coach in the league.

I am very happy that they are in Carolina's division. I am hoping that there will be at least limited fans in the stands so I can go to both early May regular season games when the Blackhawks visit.

CBJ in the division, too. It’ll be fun to watch 8 games with my two teams.

Dach out 4-5 months. So basically the entire season as the Hawks aren't going to be making the playoffs without him.

If they could get a legitimate #1 dman, they could turn this around in a couple seasons assuming Dach develops into a #1C, Boqvist is 50-60 pt dman, and Debrincat and Kubalik are 30+ goals per season players. Still going to need to find a goalie. The Hawks need a lot of things to fall right for them. Still sucks that they beat Edmonton last August. Rossi, Perfetti, or Askarov would be a helluva lot better than reaching for Reichel.

I see the Milwaukee Admirals announced yesterday, they are not going to have a season. Awful for these Minor League teams as they have to get the fan revenue to survive.

A few teams seem to be relocating to their NHL affiliates training centers and will probably play their games there. I cannot see the Wolves renting out Allstate to play their home games in and will probably relocate to a practice arena as well.

That division structure is goofy as hell. One division with just three teams??

I would generally agree, but with the current situation at center...I also see they placed Zach Smith on waivers.

Hmmmm...

i'll give them a watch and pay some attention - don't expect anything from them for awhile.

one guy i'd watch is kane. will he give 100% on power plays and play at 80% 5x5??

the past few years, i noticed kane wants nothing to do with working the corners or back-checking. may have mailed it in already.
