This still doesn't add up.

Toews is a $10 Million / year player that hasn't played like that since 2015. I'm still skeptical.

I have to laugh at the gullible fans I read on the Athletic saying there is no connection between the two. Don't be a fool. Based on the marketing and messaging from this team over the last 10 years, changing the conversation is exactly what someone should expect the Hawks to do. I just wonder if they went with a two-prong attack of the Toews announcement AND the Keith rumors. Isn't it about time for the team to practice with the Wounded Warriors so they can splash that video all over social media?
