There is more to this story than we are seeing right now or will ever see. I can see what the Hawks are saying regarding the player and coach situation but for them to also allow him go coach minors is sickening. If the adult player felt like they were criminally assaulted then they should go to the police. They dont need to go to the hawks and then make the hawks go to the police. If some squirley coach tried to put the screws to you would you as an NHL player A. beat the absolute shit out of him B. reported the incident to the police or c. tell the hawks and then do nothing for 10 years and sue the hawks for a fraction of an NHL yearly salary?

Based on the few details from this story I would guess that the coach liked to party with some of the players which is considered unprofessional but happens. Something got a little weird when partying with the players. The only way this coach wasn't murdered by the player would be for it to be a drunken devils threesome where he took some liberties but because some groupie was being taken to pound town he let it slide. That is the ONLY way I can see option 3 being the route taken. If this guy straight up assaulted a player then it would be option A or B.

I know that this will sound insensitive, but I struggle understanding how heterosexual male professional athletes allow a guy like Bradley Aldrich to sexually assault them multiple times. He should have been eating out of a straw after the first attempt. He wasn't some physically imposing guy, management or even a head coach. He had no control over a player's career.

Given the precarity of playing professional hockey and the rampant molestation in the lower ranks, it's not unthinkable that a lot of these guys wind up broken. The story Bernstein of all people told today could be considered sexual assault. He was working at the minor league or independent Rockford baseball facility as a reporter and the manager flopped his meat tray out on the table he was using to conduct his interview. A bunch of players and or staff were there to see the shenanigans. I was shocked at how berstein didn't see bothered by this and even laughed at it.

Is something like that what happened? I would think that falls under the sexual assault umbrella. Did he start wacking it in front of a player?
