he's 18 right? too much hype and pressure to put on this kid. all these interviews and shit treating him like he's the next wayne gretzky.

why not send him down and let him learn how to play in a professional setting and then call him up mid way thru the year if he deserves it.

Enjoyable game to watch so far, I guess since Bedard is the realization of the futility of last year. Beard has begun to win faceoffs, got an assist and now a goal by a guy who played in college. It'll be a work in progress but can see some positives so far.
