Well since his line wasn't on the ice at the moment, kinda hard to pass it to him when he's in the bench....I'm assuming you meant Bedard?

If "why didn't you just score on the open net" was a thing, nobody would pull the goalie.

I watched some of this. He needs to get a lot better. Reminds me a lot of Justin Fields.

He's a tiny little guy. Color me skeptical.

He has the prematurely receding hair line just like Kane. I like that he isn't afraid to shoot.

That's what I liked the most. I spend most of my time watching hockey yelling "Shoot!" any time someone has the puck. He does seem to have the same strategy of always shooting. After all, you can't score a goal if you don't shoot.

I was thinking about buying season tickets to sell to opposing fans for a profit. Could probably make big money when they play division rivals like the Blues and Red Wings.

liking what I'm seeing from all 3 young defensemen, #72, #55 and #44.

And obviously #98 looks fantastic.

Foligno and Donato have both looked solid in their roles. Can't really complain about Perry either. Tyler Johnson and HappytoSeeYou both look fast.

Agree on all of them. I have seen lots of reason for optimism moving forward.

With all the draft picks they have, and the picks they are likely to get at the trade deadline, how many would they have to bundle with Seth Jones and some retained money to unload that poison fuck you Bowman contract?

his contract is fine on this team. No reason to get rid of him simply as a cap dump. Now if they can find a contender at the trade deadline in desperate need of a defenseman that would be a different story.

He would make a good deadline trade piece for a team which lost a defenseman. But I think they'd have to toss in some picks and retain some salary to get someone to do it.

Good game, Sodorblom looked solid in Toronto.

I don't agree with that last part. At least the draft pick part. maybe they have to retain a few dollars, but not much. And that shouldn't really matter to the Hawks who are barely over the cap anyway. No way they attach any draft picks to unload any player on the roster.

hawks brass are praying. i'm sure mrazek will be gone after this season...hawk mngt. need and want soderblum to be the #1. i believe mngt. has spoken to richardson and richardson has become a friend of the program. soderblum and mrazek with 2 starts each after 4 games.

D tinordi appears the odd-man out. zaitsev back. none of the rookie D have done anything to get scratched. fantastic start for this group. collectively, the FWDs aren't at leaf-level, but they literally skated their blades off for richardson last night.

1 goal in 4 games doesn't seem like a lot for the next Wayne Gretzky.

Wayne Gretzky had 1 goal in his first 4 games of his career.

As I said, it doesn't seem like a lot for the next Wayne Gretzky. It turns out is what we should expect!
