So Kane had some issues as a young guy in the limelight. Who the fuck cares? He is growing out of it. You can tell it in his interviews. Like last night when he was interviewed about the MVP playoff deal he said right away that he thought Crawford deserved it. That doesn't happen a couple years back.

Toews and Kane are a great great thing for Chicago. I hope we get to enjoy them playing together for a long long time.

Kane being a douchebag while Toews being the good one is a myth. The cab incident was unfortunate but young people make mistakes. He also likes to drink and have fun, I don't see an issue with that. Kane is a very sociable and likeable guy. The kind of guy who will not only give an autograph to anyone who asks but also talk to you for a few minutes. Both are nice guys and neither are douchebags but you're more likely to get a cold shoulder from Toews than you are Kane.

Don't rewrite history. There are a ton of Kane stories out there. The Blackhawks supposedly had to go as far as have a sit down meeting with him about his off the ice behavior.

Congratulations to Kane for not being a jerk for 6 months. Let's wait a little longer before we blame his past on immaturity alone.

Are there stories that cant be chalked up to youthful ignorance?

Some of them, especially supposedly choking a girl, can never really be explained away. However, eventually it can be viewed as a big mistake. We need him to be on better behavior than 6 months though.

I tend to agree. Kaner has done some dumb shit before, but who amongst us didn't do some dumb shit in our teens and early 20s? Kane seems to have sorted himself out a bit and is starting to grow up, which is what you'd expect. If he does something ridiculously stupid like murdering someone or raping someone then that changes things, but I'm not going to fault the guy for doing some stupid shit as a kid. I'm 29 and I know I've certainly done some dumb stuff before as I was growing up, and I'd like to think I'm still a pretty good guy.

Just in case we needed a little more evidence as to how much of a tool LeBron is...
