Alma Mater going up against a #1 ranked Lincoln Way East team this Saturday afternoon. Gonna be a tough one. High school football very unpredictable though so we will see.

Looks like my guys went down to the #1 seed.

Ignatius hockey bus got hit at 80 mph by a drunk trucker last night. Lots of kids hurt but it could have been much, much worse.

Go pack

ESL struggled with the same offense PR runs last year against CG.

Neither PR and SI are as good as that Carey team though. PR defense is especially bad. Ignatius will put up more of a fight.

Outstanding. As for the other side of the bracket.....holy balls what a score. Peoria beat Morris 75-56. That has to be one of the highest scoring games I have ever heard of that didn't go to OT. Of course freaking Batavia is playing for another championship even though they have 3 losses.

The angry Facebook comments are that it isn't fair that Sycamore had to face multiple private schools! Your schedule is both Woodstock high schools, Krackerland, Rochelle, Morris, LaSalle Peru and Ottawa. You beat up on some teams that you've graduated from playing anymore. Then you played some second-rate Catholic programs with 3-4 losses. They whined about Montini too. Get used to it, losers. I remember Naperville North beat Loyola and Wheaton South beat Joliet Catholic when I was in junior high one year.

+1. Hopefully they prosecute the hell out of the trucker.

Not to drive the knife in, but it was (allegedly) his first FG attempt of the year. I didn't realize that the SICP staff had met with PR and then installed the Triple Option themselves.

You were right. The size of the ESL line was all the difference.
