I don't doubt for a second he is a first round pick right now, maybe even top 15. Look how many 7 foot tall European myths get picked in the back half of the first round. Here is a 7 foot guy showing all the athleticism you need to play inside as well as a jumper out to 15 feet in a major college conference. GM would be drooling projecting what he could be. One more year in college and he is a top 5.

I always get accused of being Chief Illinimac but I can't see him not getting picked in the top 10 this year. Barring some kind of setback at the rate he's already developing, it's easy to see he could have a mid-range 15-18 foot game with more practice and he's still developing setting a good base in the post but those are all things that can be taught.

The skills are clearly there and there just aren't guys that size anymore with that kind of athleticism. The guy is 295. Somebody call Matt Nagy. He's almost too old-school '80s/'90s low-post guy.

Also glad we agree that 2 guards in the Big 10 are better than Kofi. But there are also guys like Wesson, Stevens, Tillman, Smith, Teske. There are quite a few good players in the Big 10.

This is why I took a flyer on the bet with RFDC. I realize how tough it is to make first team All-America. And I know that these days the A-A team isn't broken down by positions the way it once was. But players like Kofi are really rare these days. And he's obviously going to have some real numbers. The A-A team deserves a real center now that one has arrived! I think I have a shot to win this one.
