My old man reared me on Purdue but I am an Illinois alumnus. I cheer for both unless they play each other and then I root for Parkland College.

Good to have you back. Iowa is going to be a head scratcher next year. They look like they will be calling on their younger players more which is totally un Ferentz like. Without OSU and scUM on the schedule, they should be better than the 6-7 they were last year. I see them in the 8-4 range.

I think next year the Wildcats get the dOSU and scUM bye, which is pretty nice. Not too often the stars align. We have them back to back this year for the first two games of the Big 10 season... early season surprise? Methinks not. Honestly, I wouldn't care if we went 1-11 as long as we got an upset on dOSU.

I'll see you in early November for Hawkeyes game!
