My condolences go out to the Hoeppner family and the entire Indiana University Community. Coach Hep was a stand up guy. I met him in his first year at the Big 10 Luncheon. I was really impressed. Coach Randy Walker and Coach Hoeppner coached together and Miami of Ohio. It's too bad we lost both of these great coaches over the last year.

Hoeppner seemed like a stand up guy and was building IU into a better football program. Tough loss for the Hoosiers but if there is a bright side of things, it gives the players time to grieve and get ready for the year. Godspeed.
