As a regular viewer/poster on the NU Rivals board Wildcatreport.com, I'm taking a break and hiding on this board. Every year before we play the Buckeyes, a bevy of Scarlet and Gray fans come over and post on our board about how much we suck and they can't believe we are in the Big 10. It's like clockwork. Once again, they further the stereotype (at least with me) as the worst fans in the B10. I know it's a sweeping generalization, but the Columbutuckians are ruthless. Frickin' smashed a full bottle of beer on the hood of my car when I visited the Horseshoe in the late 1990's... after a blowout loss.

One thing that is nice about being a wildcat fan, is that we have only upside in this game. If we lose, it's expected, but a win... well that would be amazing. A Buckeye fan can really never fully appreciate a win like that. Just like a Michigan fan can never fully appreciate the feelings that the Appy State fans got after that victory.

October 6th Purdue vs. Ohio State at night at West Lafayette. That should be interesting. Ohio State fans were actually pretty cool the last time they came to town but the night game should be interesting.

The funniest thing I saw at a game was an Ohio State fan walking slowly down the aisle in the student section with both hands up in glory during the game when they had a small lead. Everyone is booing and yelling stuff at him and all of a sudden this guy runs up the aisle, pulls the OSU fans shirt over his head, delivers 3 uppercuts to him, and heads up the aisle and I assume out of the stadium. The OSU fan is all stunned when he finally gets his shirt over his head and is looking all around and everyone is laughing at him. About 15 minutes later the ushers show up and escort him out of the stadium.

I'm not condoning violence and I actually like Ohio State(especially when playing Michigan) but seeing this guy act like a tough guy and then get what he got was hilarious.
