Notre Dame @ Purdue -21... Painter is leading a potent offense. If Notre Dame can't get it's offense going then the line is right. I just think 21 points is too many to give for an in-state rival game. I'll take the points and go with Notre Dame (Purdue wins, but doesn't cover).

Michigan -16.5 @ Northwestern... Huh? Did you see the Ohio State game? Give the points and take Michigan. No home field advantage in Evanston. Expect the Maize and Blue to outnumber the Purple at Ryan field.

Penn State -3 @ Illinois... Tough pick. You know how much I like the Illini this year, but I think that Penn State wins. I think it will be competitive, but I think give the points and pick Penn State. If I had confidence that the Illini football fans will show up and make some noise, I might have gone the other way.

Indiana @ Iowa - 11... At Kinnick, baby, pink locker rooms and all. That Wisco game showed how tough Iowa is. Give the points and pick Iowa.

MSU @ Wisconsin -7... Tough line, but I'll say Dantonio keeps this game close. Take the points and go with MSU (Wisco wins, but doesn't cover).

OSU -22 @ Minnesota... I'm not sure anyone deserves to give 22 points except anyone playing my Cats. Still Minny is pretty bad. I'm suggesting OSU doesn't cover all the points because it's at Minny and Tressle will put his fourth string in. Take the points and go with Minny (Buckeyes win, but do not cover).

As much as I love the Illini, I don't know if they're ready to take that next step yet. Giving up only three, I'd have to go with Penn State (of course based on my recent picks in the wagering section, you all might want to pile on the Illini  ).

Purdue +21 against Notre Dame
Purdue is averaging 45 points a game this year. ND does not have a defense that is any better than some of the other teams. If Purdue puts up 45 points on ND, they don't score 24.

Michigan -16.5 @ Northwestern
I have to take the Wolverines. Northwestern had some trouble with OSU.

Penn State -3 @ Illinois
I have to take Penn State. This game may be close, but the inexperience of the Illini causes them to lose by at least a touchdown. Anthony Morelli once again shows that he doesn't have what it takes.

Iowa - 11 against Indiana
Indiana is really bad. The coach is really bad. Indiana had a huge upset last year against the Hawkeyes. I doubt they players have forgotten about that game. Iowa wins big. This is my favorite play of the week.

MSU @ Wisconsin -7
Wisconsin is far from impressive this year. Wisconsin is good enough to beat everyone, but I don't think they are good enough to beat everyone badly. I have to take MSU to cover, but Wisconsin still wins.

OSU -22 @ Minnesota
This is a great time to put the money on Minnesota. Not because they are going to win, because they won't. Minnesota has a very good offense, and if OSU gets up by 25 points, they will go into a conservative defense. Minnesota picked apart Purdue's defense in the second half last week. The problem for Minnesota was that the game was pretty much out of reach. Minnesota has some great comebacks this year. They will lose by a couple td's but at some pont be down by about 28 points.

By the way, is anyone going over the previous predictions? I'm too lazy.

I'll repost mine from the other thread... I was 5 for 6.

Illinois -3 @ Indiana... Give the points and pick the Illini. CHA-CHING!
MSU - 12.5 @ ND... Give the points and pick the Spartans.CHA-CHING!
NU @ OSU -22.5... Give the points and pick dOSU. CHA-CHING! Meeow.
PSU - 3 @ UM - Give the points and pick State. Waaa-waaa-waaa. Wolverines awaken or PSU not that good? You pick.
Iowa @ Wisconsin -7.5... Take Iowa and the points. CHA-CHING!
Purdue -13.5 @ Minnesota. Give the points and take Purdue. CHA-CHING!
Not bad, huh?

The others could go either way I think.

So, I'd say YES, NO, YES, YES. 3-1 last week.

This week I'd go -

Notre Dame @ Purdue -21 (NOTRE DAME)
Michigan -16.5 @ Northwestern (MICHIGAN)
Penn State -3 @ Illinois (I'LL PASS)
Indiana @ Iowa - 11 (IOWA)
MSU @ Wisconsin -7 (WISCONSIN)
OSU -22 @ Minnesota (OHIO ST.)

I'm a bit of an Illini fan, but I wouldn't put money on them this week only getting 3 and I won't bet against them, even with points.

And, MUD, I'll be at the Illini game - so you can go ahead and take them now.

I would go with this:

Purdue - 21: I just can't see how ND is going to stop them from scoring 40+
Michigan -16.5: I just think something has clicked for Michigan and with the weather being favorable, they are going to throw and run like crazy.
Indiana +11: When a team is averaging just a shade over 20 a game, I can't see how they can be favored by double digits
MSU +7: I think D'Antonio is your front runner for coach of the year in the Big Ten. He'll watch the game tape and attack Wisconsin with everything he's got - it'll be another low scoring affair
OSU - 22: Minnesota sucks.
