DePaul & Marquette had played each other in the defunct Great Midwest Conference & Conference USA before joining the Big East. Like DePaul, Marquette doesn't play its home games on campus, but the Bradley Center is louder & more electric whenever they play in front of the fans in Milwaukee. It won't get any easier come Wednesday night vs. #3 UCONN at Allstate Arena. The Blue Demons might not win a single conference game this season... :(

They tried. The cost of building in the division and halsted area turned out to be astronomical for a 10,000 seat arena.
