this is really ridiculous. Very few people want to watch this sport. And don't tell me it's because it's a women's sport. Lots more people watch women's fastpitch then men's fastpitch. I saw she came out recently. Reminded me of Hoops 2 where one Jason Goff said all the WNBA groupies are women... |

isn't elena kind of some sort of 6'5"+ offensive force who is already just about the best all around offensive player in the league? yeah she's saddled on a shit team/franchise, but i mean she's already flossin out there so what's the hangup? more dunks needed? wouldn't lowering the rims to 9ft fuck up everyone's (already broke-ass =) shot to the point where shooting 33% from the field = stephen curry status? idk this just seems kind of weird and token and with the advents of internet/tumblr feminism nowadays nothing good could come from lowering the rims to 9ft. trust me on this one. |

Been to 3 WNBA games, seemed just as exciting as non-tournament college games I've been to. A level not worthy of criticism or praise really. Parking was free this year though! |

i'm sure high schools want to deal with 2 different rim heights as well. lowering the rim isnt going to make them any faster or less likely to shoot airballs |

damn EDD is LGBT? you know, in the case of a 6'5" "big'un" of a woman i can't help but wonder if her legit "plus size" helped make dates harder to come by during her youth/teenage-years and therefore she ended up kind of eschewing men as a whole (who likely would be intimidated by a woman who was bigger/taller/stronger than them) because she probably had a rough go getting dates with intimidated guys back in the day? honestly i could see myself (6'4"/250++) being intimidated by a chick who was like 6'5"/6'6" and pretty much was the whole daft punk suite (harder better faster stronger) compared to me. it's prolly something [subconscious / deeply programmed on a subliminal level] where you just feel more "normal" in a situation where you're bigger than the women you're with, you know? i can totally see that working against elena when her body first shifted gears into "HEY NOW!" mode back in the day. i don't mean to belittle LGBTs by suggesting it's totally "nurture over nature" across the board cuz honestly i know fuckall about how LGBT people feel/think/etc when it comes to physical attraction, but in this rare (6'5"+WNBA-athlete) situation i could see her 6'5"-thoroughbred-athlete status being something that might have made typical boy/girl relations a bit odd/goofy/possibly-impossible back in the day because whatever "alpha male" archetypes tend to exist in the subconscious of your average CIS-scum male = have to take a backseat to a way-more-legit alpha like elena. |
