I think holding party at outdoor locations are best, but it depends on the season your wedding takes place. You should go for reception venues in los angeles to get better prices.

If that weekend doesn't work for most of us, I guess it doesn't have to be a Cubs game, does it? I'm down with putting together a big group to see any game. Had a great time the first time we did this. The game ends up being secondary to the comradery of the tailgate and drinking anyway.

The kids behind us used a crushed beer can in lieu of a spatula. I actually had to do that once at a Sox game last year. Got tickets very last minute, threw what we could into the cooler, forgot utensils. Not sure I would have thought of that if I hadn't seen at the Brewers game during our tailgate.

And then another game we were at, which was planned well in advance, somebody forgot the bag of charcoal....
