Alright, I have not made it to the range...haven't played a single round yet this season.

Had another great lesson with Todd Sones. Made another big change in the swing, now trying to drop the club down and bring it from the inside. the hard part is holding off on doing that until after I am at the top of backswing and starting my turn. Need to always keep the club in front of my body.

Went out and played Mt Prospect twilight with the wife. really got the hang of the new swing, but completely lost the driver. driver came back last 6 holes or so and had a couple birdies on the back. Unfortunately, had 3 short wedge shanks in the last 3 holes. As I get tired, the shanks can sneak back in. Ended up with an 84, very happy about that. Had some of my best iron shots of the year.

Got paired up with a really cool dude. He lit up a J in the middle of the 2nd fairway. Set us up for a great day. A 4some of real assholes in front of us. First, they are playing so slow there's a hole and a half open in front of them. Then they start yelling at the single in our group when he loses an iron shot, yells 4, and the shot goes over their head by 50 yards as they are walking towards the next tee box. But, the real kicker was on hole 12. One of the guys must've missed a putt cause he then takes a full swing at the green and takes a massive divot out of the green an inch from the hole. then he sits there for 10 minutes trying to fixit. I hit my tee shot pin high 15 feet right of the pin, right in line with the divot. Curl the putt around the edge of the divot and sink it for the birdie.

then I called the clubhouse and ratted out the asshole ahead of us. Also told them how they were slowing down the whole course. Pro shop said they would send a ranger. never did. called back, still no ranger. Was told they were busy. I would think that going out and talking to someone who just vandalized a green and is also slowing down the whole course would be a priority, but guess not.

Still a great time so no big deal, just annoying that the course didn't seem to give a shit.
