Literally pulled off shoes after 18 on Friday and sock was bloody. I was considering the contour. Had a toe that hurt for days. Adidas generally are great in my feet but the cheap golf adidas don't agree with me apparently. |

I played in a pair of the FootJoy leather sandals once in AZ when my clubs made the connecting flight but my suitcase did not. Played well and the sandals seemed to force me to stay balanced. The FootJoy Teva-style golf sandals offer no support. Bought a pair and threw them out after one round. |

The long range forecast does not look particularly good for the 23rd. Hopefully we end up with MANY dry hours. If not, no lightning. I'll play in the rain, but obviously not in a Tstorm. |

All my plans to practice every day for a couple weeks prior to this event have gone completely out the window...I'm going to absolutely suck. Turns out the course is very close to my new office...I drove by it the other day. |

A monkey wrench may fall into my gears. The 5yo just came home with a fever and may not make it to camp tomorrow. There's no chance the wife will stay home from work so I can go golfing. Playing it by ear. |
