This is the kind of pointless meddling that used to make bigfan flip his shit. Just pointing that out. Lucky for you, The Three Wisemen are operating under a New Covenant.

You should be offering 300- 400 in gas/ hotel. Don't get mad because I pointed out your deal is bad.

Who the hell in their right mind unironically writes, in essence, "you're lucky I'm not BigFan" ... and what the hell is the point of posting it in the first place? What One-T might have done is 100% irrelevant in what we call the 'present' and then you follow it up with that 'lucky for you ...' passive-aggressive nonsense.

Whiz-bang job on making Caller Bob momentarily appear to look like a sympathetic, rather than the normal just pathetic, character.

Really? It was totally unnecessary and absolutely cunty for him to stick his nose in the way he did. And I'm 100% certain any reasonable human being agrees with me. So I'm not sure what the fuck your point is but you're welcome to shove it straight up your ass along with Caller Bob.

I don't want to beef with anyone, but what the fuck is the point of a guy who has no interest in doing a job sticking his fucking nose in about what the compensation for said job might be? It's like a guy walking into my store and telling another customer that he can buy my product cheaper down the street. Get the fuck out of here. And I'm not even that pissed at Caller Bob. Just somewhat annoyed. I think Don Tiny is more of a dope for defending it.

Really? That sums up MANY posts around here.

I never agreed with him, Mr. Reading Comprehension. My point was quit being such a sensitive lad for chrissakes. Oooooooh 'Caller Bob' shit up my thread. Good God in the morning ... how terrible for you ... and pretty much any other poster whose thread he's stumbled past.

You're free to fuck off too, Two-R's.

Have a blessed day.

I don't think so ... it's not like either of us wish the other guy were dead. I've asked him to wish it for my sake, but he has refused my request. A few back and forths, then neither of us care anymore ... or probably ever really did ... just a reason to fuck with the other guy for a bit.

I understood your post but you probably shouldn't have been surprised. No one thinks that you would stiff them and anyone interested probably won't negotiate publicly.

Wow,what a memory. The Sox should have never turned their back on "Keppy".

EDIT: As for driving anywhere, last week I got lost driving back from the Schaumburg Clean Air Testing facility. Bastards closed the one in Elk Grove.

On a serious note my classes are done for the summer and I don't have any guard commitments until the end of the July so conceivably I could leave like next week. What is the size of the truck?

Joe Orr DiCaro...just stop with the "victim" card. You are no better(except Flapjacks) than any poster here and there is nothing wrong with me pointing out costs they may incur.

It's reasonable to expect to fill that trunk up four to five times at least on the trip. Especially considering you have to return in on a "full" tank. Add in a stop 1/2 way at a reasonable hotel, and a $300-400 flat expense cover is completely reasonable. Sorry, but the "hit the other guy" up for it suggestion is just foolish. If you know the dude so well, negotiate the cost with him and have him comp you after you pay out whoever you hire. Who's to say they don't get stiffed by this guy? We don't know anything about him, and then their $1,000 haul is down to $600-700. Oh am I'm not even factoring cab/uber fare from wherever the uhaul is dropped off, back to the airport.

He already has multiple guys taking him up on this offer. It's fair to say he offered sufficient compensation for the job.

Why are you so concerned with a deal that has nothing to do with you?

If you want to offer a job in this forum, feel free to do so and list your terms. Stop worrying about a transaction that doesn't concern you.

And don't presume to know a fucking thing about who might stiff me or which one of my associates might stiff a guy with my name on the line. As if I'm going to come on here and have a guy drive across the country without getting paid. How exactly would that work? See, I'm an actual person with a real reputation rather than being a suspected mult like you. And since you're not driving the truck to Arizona you don't need to know a goddamn thing about the guy on the other end.
