We gonna do this? Only 3 more weekends until The Big One, at which point drinking a lot of alcohol for the fuck of it turns back towards being a "problem". Selfishly, I'd like to stay in or near the West 'Burbs so I can get drunk and not take out a loan for an uber home. Dr. Ken seems to have sold a few people on Alter, which works for me, we can also find other cheaper, eatier places than that. Let us all drink and be merry in person instead of condescending and shitty on the board, for one night at least. |

I understand money is tight around these times, so the Wednesday dates for half price pours (and growlers to go) are the 13th and 20th. Outside of that are the regular Friday/Saturday dates of 8/9, 15/16, 22/23. Pick what works best for you. |

Yeah but I imagine they got a lot of foot traffic from the train during the summer when I was there. Can't imagine people willingly walking down Belmont in 20-degree weather to grab a cold one. Plus if you get there and grab a table you're usually pretty good. Only knock on the joint is that they don't serve real food. There's bar snacks you can purchase, but other than that you're ordering delivery or drinking on an empty stomach. I'd say 5:00-5:30 is decent enough time to get there and grab a table. Maybe Dr. Ken will make the trek out from Kenilworth to help me fight off people for a table. |
