It was instantaneous relief. There was a loose piece of nail and in there pretty deep. Said I was wise to not mess around with it further. My new (to me) irons have an extra wrap, less pressure on the finger. All set for this weekend. Prairie View in Byron and a course to be named later. Hoping to survive another visit to the west side of Rockford.

Definitely. My niece was in a play at the Starlight Theatre - she's moving to Chicago this month, so not sure how often I'll get out that way now. I never did make it to Prairie View and that's a course I need to play once a year at a minimum. Conditions there are supposed to be impeccable right now.
I always try to make it out there at least once a year. Didn't last year and so far haven't this year, which is a shame because the the course is great - both the layout and the conditions.
