I tried them too. I went to junk yards in the south suburbs and some on the north side. I'm almost at the point of dumping the car because of a part that doesn't cost $100.

first of all, which part for what car? it helps to know what im looking for before i start looking.

but in most cases, you can use carparts.com to search all the junkyards across the country. if you cant find it on there, you have little chance of finding it at all

theyre only good for parts you can find at any other parts store. they do have a wider selection, but youre not going to find many body parts or factory-only items like torsion bars

rock auto is one of the best sources for car parts outside of the big 4 (autozone, napa, advanced and oreilly)
