At the time, another company told me that they relied heavily on illegals. Maybe someone turned them in. Nice fence though.

I am getting quotes right now for 115 feet of black aluminum fencing. My neighbor behind me just had Peerless fence install a fence seperating the back of my lot and the side of his so he essentially paid for half my fence so its time to connect to it! Peerless is the biggest in my area but they promote screwless slats which are great until you run your lawnmower into the bottom of the fence and break a few slats and then have to remove a post and replace the entire fence section for $400 rather than removing 2 screws and replacing the slat for $50.
I usually prefer to do business with smaller companies rather than the largest so I probably wont go with Peerless.
The 2 quotes that I have received are between $25 and $28 per foot.

Damn that is more than I would have thought a fence costs. I have 3/4 acre corner lot. Ouch if I ever fenced. Not many fences here though.

I'm on a corner too with about a 3/4 acre lot. We had a no fence covenant that expired about 5 years ago and a couple of people put in fences and the people that have lived here since the subdivision was built in the mid 1990's were pissed. Once someone starts the ball rolling though everyone else connects to each other down the block. I've waited 14 years!
