I know there was a thread about this place some time ago, but search can't find it. I think I'm going to check it out tonight. Any thoughts?

Should I expect a ridiculous wait time on a Saturday?

If it's just the two of you, you may be able to get right in (or a very short wait), but I haven;t been there post-"Check Please". We can usually get a spot at the bar no problem.
If it's crowded, put your name in and go across the street for a couple beers at Half Acre.

The burgers are great! The fries seem to be hit/miss with the flavors (I like the truffle ones and the Old Bay).
AND CHEESE CURDS. GET THE CHEESE CURDS.

Excellent Beer selection. Burgers are really good. Cheese curds are a must. And I would try the poutine as well. I've been several times and always have had a good expierence.

Went there last time I was in town. Very good burgers and curds.

how's this compare to Kuma's?

BA is pretty close to me, I'll have to give it a try at some point.

Love this place! Used to be a weekly stop for me and the family before we moved out of the area.

Great burgers, cheese curds and beer selection.

I prefer it to Kuma's, although I'm probably in the minority on that score.

I like both, but BA is usually easier to get into at a reasonable time.

How was it, DB? Trying to pick a place for this Saturday - was there a long wait?

I waited about 20-30 mins.

I wasn't overly impressed though. My burger was good, but the cheese curds tasted like any kind of fried cheese curds you may buy at a sporting event. I think they are just frozen ones they probably buy wholesale.

Beer selection is phenomenal though.

Kumas > Bad Apple
