My next burger is going to be called the Eaglo Jeff, and it's going to be a bowl of soup.

Hey IMU -- did you go to the mexican place the Naf Naf guys opened called Invicto -- it is really good. No cash; bring your card. I recommend the Arabes Mula. I wish I still worked out that way.

Hey, I've been to the one in Naperville. It was really good. I didn't know it was Naf Naf's brother.

Now that I actually have a residence in NC, I have to limit myself to once a week, and only a single order of hash browns unless its dinner.

Luella's kitchen. Had biscuits and gravy and greens. Very very good. French toast and macaroni and cheese will be had on future visits.

Cajun Connoisseur food truck is out in front of the Willis Tower today. Shrimp with cheesy grits, vinaigrette sauce on the side. Damned tasty.

Waffle House was the best part about the drives dropping off/picking up/visiting my son at Mizzou. I told him that it would likely be the second best part of my visits to see him in Nashville.

All the German restaurants are shutting down and here we are in the middle of the Nazi resurgence. Oh well, welcome to Trump's America.

I still laugh thinking about the strange looks we got there from the other customers. Especially as they were ear hustling our conversations.

It's better than I remember it being. I don't think I've had Buona in probably 10 years before today.

i think their beef is excellent. served it at a few family parties and everyone seems to like it. my only complaint is the sweet peppers are sometimes not cooked long enough

Maybe it varies by location. I've had bad experiences in the last 10 years at various locations.

It's one of the few things that shouldn't differ that much from location to location. Some of these mini chains all source their own bread, though, which makes a huge difference.

I used to like the sausage at the Buona in Lombard circa 2000-2004. Used to hit it after playing in racquetball tournaments at the Glaas Court Health Club, which was a terrific place.

Its possible the beef could be seasoned/prepared/stored differently for heat and eat at home than it is in the restaurants.

I generally do not go to Buona unless I have my freebie sandwich coupon from the Sox game the previous day.
