That was a decent model - home cooked style food for carryout - but I think when grocery stores started offering hot food and soup the convenience factor of that sort of killed them.

Better and bigger rotisserie chickens for about half the money, too.

There was a video I watched a few months ago about the fall of Boston Market, let me dig it back up. I vaguely remember something about McDonald's buying them and highly leveraged real estate.

You know what else I don't see a lot of anymore? Bakers Square. There's still one on Northwest Hwy. in Palatine and that's the only one I can think of.

Those are still all over kind of. There is one in Orland on LaGrange, Oak Lawn on 111th St, and another further north (like 55th St) on LaGrange which is Countryside I think.

There's still a Baker's Square in Libertyville.

I eat at Boston Market fairly often. The one at Golf and Elmhurst Rd. One of my partners grew up with roast chicken dinner a lot and really enjoys it.

Remember to drain the turkey cavity before submerging it in the deep fryer!

I'm serving it as the Julie DiCaro special to my wifes family. The problem is none of them know who she is.

That all sounds awesome, I love rosemary.

It's really easy to get the temperature to be constant on one. You just have to get the airflow right.

May I suggest that you augment the bread called for in the recipe with leftover rosemary rolls?

That's a really good idea but I have never made either so I won't be so daring this time.

Why are you making the bread pudding on the smoker? Just to avoid the in-laws?

But the main reason is that you're avoiding human contact, correct?

I can assure you any avoidance is from their wishes.
