Mexican place in downtown Glen Ellyn.

Tapas style dining with what they call Mexico City street food.

I thought it was real good, But I have never been to Mexico City so...

This place is amazing. The same people also own Bien Trucha in Geneva. Fantastic food. It's probably my favorite restaurant in the suburbs.

Excellent. Probably half the menu.

We went there last week for our youngest daughter's b-day. There was five of us. It is a tapas type menu and they served the tacos in courses. We got Mexican style shish ka bobs and a couple of sides. One was a cheezy style rice and the other was some type of corn dish with an amazing sauce.

It's delicious too.

The service could have been better, but he was very knowledgeable about the menu. Three trips to the table before he even asked for a drink. My wife requires alcohol to deal with the likes of me.

As DB said, the same people also own Bien Trucha on rt. 38 in Geneva. We go to Bien Trucha about once a month, never been to the Glen Ellyn place. My Wife & I drove past this place for about 5 years after we moved out west & always wondered why there was a crowd or people gathered outside this old small nondescript building with no sign or anything. We starting asking around & found out that this place is a great great restaurant. The food & service is both outstanding. Best restaurant in the western suburbs & one of our favorites anywhere. Regardless of where you live in the Chicago area, you won't be disappointed by taking a little road trip to this place. Avoid the weekends as the wait is 2+ hours.

Seconded. Incredible food, decent prices, and there's always a line of people waiting to get in right before open.
