I love Genos East. It's no Barnabyis, but it's good.

I'm sure it'll be better than most of the other options in that God forsaken town but I've never had a Chicago chain pizza outside the area that tasted the same.

Ate at the one in Lake Geneva a couple weeks back. Everything was very good. Nice AC, it was very hot outside that day.

There is a great place in Mesa. Guy was from Berwyn and he flies everything in.

That's the only way it works. Especially with Italian sausage. It's just not the same in other states.

Pizza does not taste the same and their water tasted funky, too. The hotel it's in was last remodeled in 1976. FUCK WISCONSIN!

Lol.

We didn't appreciate those rankings enough while we still had them. Could have referenced those errors for years.

That said...I really with the several Gino's Easts by me didn't all shut down.

We don't have one here but we have the frozen version stocked in grocery stores and it may be the worst pizza I've ever had outside of St. Louis. I'm comparing it both to real pizza places and frozen too. I'd rather have that cheap pizza that tastes like paper that you can get 10 of them for $3 over GENO'S.

It was the deep dish one.

We used to order the Malnatis and Giordanos one and get them shipped in and they were FAR SUPERIOR.

Very expensive. I the same but have my mom bring on her visits.

Giordanos was like $40 I think before I made Mom my mule.

Yeah, the shipping costs add a lot to it.

I think the Gino's thin crust is one of the better frozen pizzas on the market.

I've had the frozen Gino's East pizzas a few times. They're fine.

Between the all caps subject and the mis-spelling of Ginos East...

Gino's East sucks. Lou's is really the only way to go when talking about the chain deep dish places.

Have you guys eaten deep dish lately? In the past, I would get an occasional pizza where the center crust was really soggy. The last three times I've had Lous and Ginos they have all had that issue. Am I supposed to send it back because it tastes fucking disgusting. I don't even know what the problem is. Are they not cooking it enough?

If you get it on a weekend when they're busy, they probably don't cook them long enough due to timing/space. I usually request a crispy crust from Lou'a, so they end up cooking it properly.
