Going to Dublin soon -- looking for suggested pubs/restaurants... also other Irish places are good too, but we are going to be HQ'd out of the Dublin area.

Throw in other things that are "must sees" -- I think we're going to spend a couple days going to the Ring of Kerry so anything along that way is good too.

Don't eat the brown sauce. You'll find it everywhere.

Forgot the name of their bus, but definitely utilize that. Runs constantly and takes you virtually all over the city.

If you can make it to the Cliffs of Moher, do it. That was by far my favorite spot in Ireland.

Must see:
Kilmainham Gaol Museum
Guinness Factory Tour(pretty commercial but also fun and a good view of the city at the end)
Trinity College and the book of Kells
Find a pub with live music being played even if you just eat dinner there.
The bus tour(this takes you to pretty much all of these places).

Pretty good:
The Jameson tour
Christchurch Cathedral
Dublin Castle
Walk around near the river and in the bar area that is close to it.

Outside of Dublin we really liked the Ring of Kerry and Dingle Penninsula(gaelic country but they speak english).
We went to Waterford and saw the Waterford Crystal factory which was cool but we didn't do nothing else.
Cork was ok. Not much there really but we did it on our way to other places.
We didn't make it to the Cliffs of Moher due to timing issues.
On our way back we stopped at the Irish National Stud which was pretty nice. We primarily did it because it was in the middle of the island so it was a good stopping point on our way back to Dublin.

Can't say much for Dublin as we went to a few bars and saw some stuff. Yelp/Tripadvisor was helpful.

P.Mac's was a cool bar. The inside is a mismash of tables, chairs, lamps and such that were thrifted or bought at a flea market. They have good food, good beer (not Guinness!) and board games you could play.

The Hairy Lemon is right across the street. It's touristy inside but it's a cool bar nonetheless.

Toner's Pub was great. Huge beer garden in back. Fuckers still love to choke down darts so may have to move to avoid smelling like smoke.

Dublin Castle, St Patrick's Cathedral and Stephen's Green were good as he said. We didn't do Dublin as extensively as BRick have so listen to him on sights.

We manage Dublin just fine with our phones and wifi. Nearly every bar/eatery has wifi where you can ask for their password.


Overall I enjoyed the other small cities/town/countryside of Ireland than Dublin. We did the Cliffs of Moher which were really cool and then drove to Galway from there. It was fucking insane because their country roads are so small in width. But it's beautiful.

Next visit to Ireland I'll definite want to check out Ring of Kerry or drive a longer portion of the Wild Atlantic Way.
