My parents like ishnala by the dells. I think it's on the cover of some supper club book they have. Stacey's used to be Ina's in Bellwood but they liked it better when it was Ina's. Would the rusty pelican be considered one?

I wouldn't even say that a Greek diner has to be run by Greeks. It's just a style of restaurant. A coffee shop really. Menu has omelets and other egg dishes, open faced turkey, beef, and ham with gravy and mashed potatoes, and burger and other sandwiches that are offered "deluxe", i.e. with a cup of soup.

JORR gets it. Most diners are Greek, in my experience, and most are actually run by Greeks. I think I'm jumping ship to Gen X.

Also, there is usually a card clipped inside the menu with a list of daily specials that can be ordered "a la carte" (with soup or salad, choice of potato, vegetable, and bread basket) or as a "complete dinner" (with tomato juice or soup, salad or cottage cheese, choice of potato, vegetable, bread basket, and dessert).
