Only if his meal is comped.

Why are they opening all these tourist traps in Rosemont?

Rosemont is making a hostile move on Schaumburg for municipal supremacy.

Rosemont is next to the airport, Allstate Arena, a convention center and the casino. They have the tourist traps to trap the tourists that are there. I imagine that place is more mobbed up today than it was in the days it was denied the casino license.

Don't forget the quality swag.

Kapper has to get a couple of good hats and a nice golf wind shirt or hoodie.

Haugh used to break Kap's balls pretty good about all that when they were on The Game together.

If Murray gets cheap swag - forget about it.

I think they also had a couple of failed businesses in that entertainment park where Hofbrauhaus and Fogo are located, so they need something in there as well.

A long time ago I went to the one in Myrtle Beach. It was like Bill Murray opened an Applebees.

I just can't believe Toby Keith's I Love This Bar couldn't make a go of it in Chicago.

This is also makes all his mugging for the camera for the Cubs games a little bit suspicious.

We never are going to have to worry about a Jim Belushi presents the According to Jim Bar.

50% of Wrigleyville has transformed into country music/theme bars. Big 10 basic bitches LOVE "country"

I'm sure he was just waiting for the Cubs to win a World Series before pulling the trigger on this restaurant.

I would go the the "According to Jim" bar to see Courtney Thorne Smith.

I'm sure the timing is just a big coincidence!

They had a fucking cover charge! There's a line right in the song: "No cover charge, come as you are".
How about a little truth in advertising?

So you're telling me and my investors that our Arlo Guthrie Presents Alice's Restaurant should reconsider the prix fixe.

Oddly enough, that place was always busy. My wife and I like the Hofbrau House, and we ate at Toby Keith's for my aunt's birthday a couple of years ago. The service sucked, but I guess the death blow was the parent company wasn't paying the rent, and they were behind on taxes at all the locations.

The BBQ pork chops were pretty good, though.

I remember the food being decent but they had a cavernous space. There was no way they were going to sell enough food to cover that.

Exactly. Their bread and butter was the entertainment space that was visible from the entire restaurant. I think they used to charge around 10-12 bucks to get in to see some shitty suburban country cover bands on Friday-Saturday nights. And like I said, it seemed to always be crowded.
