I'll try this at some point. Sounds awesome.

Quote:
Taco Bell is going national with fried chicken taco shell

IRVINE, Calif. (AP) — Taco Bell plans to go nationwide this month with its latest concoction: a taco with a shell made entirely out of fried chicken.

Taco Bell says the shell of the Naked Chicken Chalupa is made up of all-white seasoned chicken. The rest of the taco is packed with lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese and avocado ranch sauce.

The fast food chain says the taco tested well in markets in Bakersfield, California, and Kansas City, Missouri, over the past two years.

It will be available at Taco Bells across the country on Jan. 26.

i think anyone who eats anything other than double deckers with beans instead of meat and bean burritos is weird.

i'm sinicalypse and yes, i prefer that my refried beans come from a caulk gun. thank you very much!

I'd be in if they figured out how to make a burrito or soft taco wrapped in fried chicken skin.

Just tried the Spicy Sweet taco the other night...best among the $1 tacos...those things will fly off the shelves on Fri/Sat nights after drinking.

You're gonna have to b/c it doesn't do anything for me at first glance.

Then again, Taco Bell does end up winning the Fast Food Wars, so maybe this is the first volley.

Probably been at least 3-4 years since I've been to a Taco Bell.

Worst thing I've ever eaten. Took a bite and spit it right out. Your opinion sucks.

The other two flavors were good.

Nothing at TB holds a candle to the cheesy gordita crunch, in my amateur opinion.

i only go to Taco Bell maybe a half dozen times a year and I always gravitate towards the double decker taco supreme. to be honest it is hard to keep a lot of their menu straight, it all looks the same to me so i just go with what i know i like. i did try some of the dorito taco shell ones once and they were pretty solid.

Good call on the double decker taco. Don't forget the Cinnabon donut holes for dessert!

Get it with the Dorito shell instead of the regular and you really can get something cooking.

They ran out of Spicy Sweet tacos at the location on Homan and Roosevelt for a few days. Surprisingly, lady gave great explanation. Said the company gave out equal amounts of the 3 new choices, and didn't realize that the Spicy Sweet was going to be so popular.

What the Fuck is wrong with people? A taco should not be sweet.

A quick Twitter search and apparently Taco Bell shorted a lot of locations of the Spicy Sweet and people are voicing their opinions. Sorry HG, you're the only person in America who doesn't like them. :D
