On Damen and Irving. Good spot. Strong drinks. Amanda from Top Chef tends bar there. She is very charming in a darling Jewish way. I would find her believable as a corporate attorney or a porn star. She was notable for being a whirling dervish in the kitchen on Top Chef so I wasn't surprised when she spilled water on my wife. In fact, I may have been disappointed if she hadn't. I recommend going before Amanda moves on to running a kitchen again.

She didn't really talk to me. The place was too busy. I hardly saw her put down her shaker. I think she may have been the only real bartender in the joint. I believe the other guys are the owners who are real estate lawyers in real life.
