Really a superior bakery. I don't entirely believe their stated reasons for closing. It sounds more like the desire to remain open lay entirely with an octogenarian, which isn't good for the future of a business. I'm shocked they couldn't sell off the business.

I can see why a person wouldn't want to be a baker. You have to be up at ungodly hours pretty much every single day. It has to be highly stressful during wedding season with production and delivery. You product has a shelf life of a day, so every day you have to hope you produced the right amount.

Still, when you have a good business, I don't know why you shut it down.

I used to love Dinkel's and Swedish Bakery before moving out of the area. Both are great old school places.
