We got a little shop in town that i like getting every fee months or so. Its so bomb... Just a bag full of rice and beans and veggies and whatever. I walked in today, nobody was wearing a mask and everyone was happy. Food is awesome. Love that place.

El Gajo Del Oro ,63rd and right east of California. best in the world. Only issue is it sits on a line tween two gangs. They have armed guards with body armor in the dining area. Great food. The only other place I really like to eat when I visit is Los Comales. Small chain,I prefer the one on 47th and Ashland.

Every now and uh who works for me brings homemade tamales. If he gives me the gringo version I survive, if we want to entertain the family/friends that are helping on the project it’s a little more touch and go and I better have a beer nearby.

Yesterday our building (CBOT) gave all the tenants a voucher for free tacos from the Big Star Food Truck. I had the chicken and al pastor...they were great.
