Modelo is their import beer. So they're not gonna sell domestic at all? No bud, Miller or Coors?

I would imagine Modelo has to be $12 for 16 ounces. Cuz bud and Miller are like $8 at most every ball park.

cheap assholes couldn't buy the naming rights too? or does MLB frown on alcohol holding naming rights? But there is Miller, Busch and Coors but those are synonymous with those cities.

MLB doesn't frown upon it. You kidding me? All leagues make a shit load of money from the beer companies.

Just saying, since it is an import it will cost more than domestics. Corona is always $3 or $4 more than domestics at ball parks.

That's why I can't believe they're not gonna have any domestic beer at Sox park.

Classic Jerry!! Trade away your best player,,,, get new beer. NOW im sure FF or Frank will tell me how good Moledo tastes with a CHURRO? The REAL question is, how much money am I paying to STATE OF IL PARK if they dont sell enough beer???

Walk to Cubbe Bear, order food, jack and coke, walk into park. TAILGATING!!

i'd figure that if there isnt an OFFICIAL BEER OF THE CHICAGO WHITE SOX(TM) that they'll just sell all types? i mean why wouldn't they? you figure that official beers give them some kind of crazy-good deal, if not outright free/paid-to-promote [but at $8-10+ a pop i'd imagine that everyone wants their cut all TINSTAAFB, economically speaking =] but in the absence of that they'd stock miller, bud, coors, whoever the fuck makes a beer that idiots might pay $8-10+/each for.

honestly, if i was rich like "WGAF money" then i'd prolly throw them $30-40/game to "support the local community" but since i'm not that and i'm also not much of a drinker at all, if anything i'll just mix a nice stiff big gulp for the L trip down and get a nice lil buzz that can be leveled out with a little grub--- and then if i'm at wrigley i 5-sure do that designated drinker, erm, driver program where i get the free soda [and even tho last year wtigley stopped automatically giving the souvenir cups i've found that if you offer to pay the ~$2.50-3 or whatever for the difference between souvenir/XXL and "Regular" that they'll just toss you the souvenir cups anyways. i was able to hit off cubs fan friends with bryant and arrieta cups over the last year cuz i'm just "cool like that" [read: "thanks for the tip, baseball uncle!" =]

oh yeah, so actually reading the thread after posting it seems that Modelo and quite possibly AB [anheiser busch?] will be the new OFFICIAL BEER OF YOUR CHICAGO WHITE SOX(TM) so i just wanted to point out that these nuts here are NOT numb because i was simply opinioning without RTFA (read[ing] the fucking article, a thing over @ baseballthinkfactory.org/newsstand -- my baseball content aggregator of choice going back to the baseballprimer.com days =)

Gone are the days when Frank was the little brother that bigfan never had. Meeting him at remotes, accepting offers of free drinks and bad bar food. Laughing at his jokes and posing for selfies with bigfan and other board members.
