A few things...

I had that Baby Back Rib Burger today...a bit underwhelming. The rib only covered about half of the burger, so half the thing was just eating a messy burger with a bunch of sauce on it. The half where I got both rib and burger was pretty good. Probably wouldn't get it again though with some many other great options there.

However, what I really wanted to talk about was the Aporkalypse Biscuit Sandwich. I saw an ad for it on the big board under the store name and told my wife "that better have bacon, sausage and ham on it or I'm done with this place". Sure enough we pull up and sign says bacon, sausage, ham and cheese. Going to have to try that next time I'm in the area of a Hardee's for breakfast.

Only thing to get at Hardees outside of breakfast is the Frisco Melt.

Wrong again doofus. Most everything is more than edible. Need coupons though. Too expensive for what it is.

Thanks for the kind thoughts. Go suck an exhaust pipe. Enclosed garage preferably.

I only see them at the travel plazas on the IN toll road.

Was driving home from Kansas fall of 2015 and stopped at a Hardees in Hannibal, MO. I hadn't been to one for at least 15 years, and
after that visit I won't go to another one. It was the filthiest fast food place I had ever been in, and that is really saying something.
I am sure they aren't all as bad as that one but for the money we paid for that lunch, my wife and I agreed we would never go back.

There was one for a couple of years on 53 in Bolingbrook. Never more than two cars there. I'd stop there about once every 6-7 weeks because I could get a sausage biscuit and a 32 oz. Diet Coke for $1.79 plus tax until 10:45am.

Closest one left (I think) in the SW burbs is in Plainfield.

I guess the company allowed the wrong major franchisee the rights to th Chicago-area ones - most of them closed within 18 months; some were dead before they ever even opened after construction had begun.

Fear not; there are plenty in Central and Western IL, Indiana, etc., for your disgusting gorging pleasure :thumleft:

I'm probably the first person ever to use the "Find a Hardee's" website.

Hardees started as Sandys in Kewanee. The offices still stand on US 34.

I did not know that. And no Hardee's even in Kewanee. That town is basically Good's furniture and Great Dane these days.

Kewanee is hillbilly heaven, meth and draft beer.

By God, I'm with you on that. Never understood how they made penny one.

Well you just described half of western Illinois. Probably more. Kewanee never recovered from the loss of the foundries. Neither have half the small towns around them.

Kewanee is fine. Mary from Goods is practically Jesus.

I'm sitting on a goods couch right now. When Bomag shut down a lot of people went scrambling. Decent jobs gone. I'm just going by the old timers that talk about what was here back in the day. I-80 did its share too but that is the history of rural America. Kewanee is fairly typical. Just know that your craft beer choice is going to be fat tire if you're lucky. Cernos bar is actually pretty cool looking place if you like old time places. They were going to reopen the old brewery but I'm
Not sure what happened there.

Oh well, to go back to the Sandy's headquarters. I had no idea that building was that. It's been a church, a nursery school and a western store in last 17 years. I think I've been to Hardee's less than 10 times in my life. Never found them terribly dirty but I was mostly in the ones in Bushnell and geneseo.

Bushnell reference. Maple Leafs suck dong. Talk about the peeps who do not soil laundry or toilet paper. Geneseo is a strange town. Very elite. MANY know this.

Geneseo is bizarre and I'll leave it at that. I think Curious Hair mentioned something about suburb heirarchy being odd but the crap out here is just head scratching.
