I don't think Chi-Chi's was ever overrated and overpriced.

Right.

Chi-Chi's was terrible and cheap.

Olive Garden is the exception here. I feel like they have a great salad vs dressing ratio.

Last weekend when it was 90 degrees and miserably hot, Mrs GF wanted BLT's big time. I didn't want to turn on the oven, fry the bacon on the stovetop or microwave so I cooked it out on the grill. I lined everything with tinfoil and fried 2 lbs of bacon out on the barbecue grill. It was great! We had plenty leftover for bacon cheeseburgers a few days later.

Been doing this for years. I have 2 cookie sheets that are charred and fried to hell that are my dedicated bacon pans.

Only like 25% of US population are sick fucks who like mayo. No reason to have us normal people always have to request no mayo.

Mayo is fucking awful and doesn't belong on anything. Completely agree.

I can one up that. I eat salad without lettuce.

On that note, lettuce isn't a food. It shouldn't be treated as such. It adds nothing to any sandwich and is just filler for a salad.

Peoples leftovers in the trash does not constitute a free taco bar.

Frank likes his steaks medium rare to medium. My wife prefers medium well to well done, and she will use A1. She's a nutjob.

i guess I should not be surprised that you want to judge how people order steak based on stats from Longhorn.

I've never seen someone so defensive of something they supposedly don't do.

Defensive? I simply clicked the link he posted, and pointed out that the stats were from Longhorn. I don't think that is quite considered a high end steak house. Would you agree?

Though I side 100% with cij in that it is much easier and much cheaper to cook a good steak at home.

I agree it's not. Not sure what that has to do with you liking hockey puck filets.

My uncle had some elk steak this weekend. I was pumped to try it... And he burnt the fuck out of it. Very unlike him. He tried convincing me one of them was rarer and I could eat that one. It didn't have a touch of pink to it. Very disappointing. I ended up having a brat.

There is a place for Longhorn in this world. My wife and I sometimes walk over to the one by our house to get the $12.99 sirloin and a longpour. Not terrible. I always order my steaks rare/medium rare but with a cheapo I have to go medium.

I think my brother and I stopped at one while we were driving through Iowa once. It was either that or applebees or something and we rolled dice on Longhorn. Could of been worse.
