Has anyone had this? We were there last month, so I had to try the local fare. Had it at two places. It's not good. Basically chicken coated in breading and cayenne pepper, deep-fried. It had minimal flavor. All I tasted was the cayenne, which I have no clue when you would want that to be the dominant taste.

I made this mistake thinking spicy chicken sandwich and was gravely wrong.

Not sure how anyone could actually enjoy one.

Last time I was in Nashville, I had chicken wings that nearly burned my tongue off.

When we were away last weekend my son wanted to try the hottest wings the place we ate at had. Nothing huge but it was a cmon dad lets get six of these to go with the huge bunch we all were eating. I thought for a second and said no buddy. We do not need to go five alarm habenaro to not taste anything and have numb lips for an hour.

Probably a good decision.

I love Nashville Hot Chicken.

Also had a Carolina Reaper pepper last week when I was on vacation. That, not gonna lie, was pretty damn hot. I had to buy some milk to quench the fire. They recommended chocolate milk over white milk to be more effective.

Even some of the country women considered middling would smoke many other women.

My brother in laws are this way. I give the pack and a half a day they each smoke the credit of killing their taste buds. I don't mind moderately spicy. When I lived in Evanston I would get the suicide wings at Buffalo Joe's for example (Found them less spicy than the Hot/Spicy can't remember the name, its been 20 years) but I'm not into the scorch your mouth off all feeling and numb lips from heat.. Nope.

The Roost on Irving Park has Nashville hot on the menu. I liked it.

I think Budlong also has Nashville hot.
