I used to work with a guy from Texas who was well-known for his cooking. He actually made a lot of money selling salsa that he made. He was always smoking meats and giving out recipes to people... But the weird thing was that he actually ate ketchup and ranch on steaks. Any time we travelled, we would always go to a nice steakhouse at least once, and he always asked for ketchup and ranch. The restaurants thought it was bizarre, of course, and it was especially strange for a guy who was a great cook.

It reminds me of the goofs who spend money on premium liquors(especially vodka), only to mix them with crap.

I just laugh for a moment and move on.
