agree with mustard only. the giant ear of buttered corn and a corn dog are carnival musts.

Yes, yes, we know you love sticking things that are long and hard in your mouth.

We didn't need a new thread for that.

Also, Bagel Dog > Pretzel Dog > Getting hit by a bus > Corn Dog

Yeah, what communist thinks Bagel Dogs are better than Corndogs?

The Meijer grocery store I shop at has freshly cooked up corn dogs in their hot deli section. 2 for $2. I sometimes will snack on a couple as I do my grocery shopping. They are great plain, but a little ketchup is fine on a corndog. Regular yellow mustard sucks on everything, so no.

Hotdogs are awful and putting corn bread on them is weird.

Yes but they are a government trick to propagate systemic bad health in the poor.

Corndogs are awesome. To be honest, I don't think I have ever attempted condimenting them, and for some reason, I find it strange that someone would. Like if I was eating a piece of cornbread on its own, I wouldn't put ketchup or mustard on it. Do you bite off the end and then squeeze it in the 1/16" gap around the hot dog? If not, it doesn't make a lot of sense -- it would be like taking a regular hot dog, turning it upside down, and putting ketchup/mustard on the outside of the bun.

well, i wouldn't put butter on a corndog, but i sure do put it on cornbread. they're two different dynamics of food.

Things like this are the reason why the White House is the White House again.

I think it is an odd combination

I like a good Chicago style hot dog

I like cornbread with BBQ, chili, etc.

But together- no thanks

A corn dog can be good, and it is great carnival fare. To call it the, or one of the best foods ever is ridiculous.

What separates the Corn Dog from other tasty foods is one minute in the microwave, slap on some mustard and you got something to hold you until dinner or whatever.

See that's the old problemo ... when you nuke 'em, aren't they pretty mushy? A mushy corndog is just this side of prison food.

Pigs in a blanket. They are amazing. Drench them in some maple syrup, and that's a perfect breakfast snack.
