Right. It's more of complaint/jealousy that these cocksuckers charge 4 bucks a taco and are thriving.

I get a FAR SUPERIOR al pastor burrito from my guy CHUKI for 7 bucks.

And that's a good thing?

When Murphy's is getting $6 for a Budweiser, yeah.

Pretty sure Murphy's is getting closer to $10 for a can of Bud.

A draft inside the ballpark is now $12 unless it's Stella, then it's $15 or $16...that's right, for one draft beer.

You might be right.

I thought $3 Lone Star bottles at Big Star on Opening Day was more than fair. Paul Kahan. Good guy!

Jeebus....I think I was paying 10 for Goose Island Green Line cans at Pearl Jam a couple of years ago. It's getting even more out of hand than it used to be...

My wife said once was enough.

This is flat out obscene.

The Wrigleyville area really has the worst restaurants/bars/food. We tried Old Crow last week prior to Pearl Jam and its just horrible food.

I've also heard that the reason they focus on these type of crappy country bars in the area is to "keep out the element".

Stop it.

Every young person I know from high school on up is "into" "country". Country Thunder was a filled with a bunch of wealthy suburban kids slumming it for the weekend. It's like this era's version of Dan Bernstein's rap obsession.

Sound like the plan didn't work.

Some of that, yes. Country Thunder also filled (mostly) with plenty of suburban teens driving pick-ups wearing sleeveless t-shirts in restaurants.
