MANY Trixies will have existential crises. Country music and dry BBQ at Old Crow or $5 tacos and music played on records at Big Star? OMG, Chad, which should we choose?

I'm quite fond of Big Star.

I'm less fond of spanky, but I tolerate him if it means tacos at Big Star.

It's a long day of eating fundido
There's a bathroom too small for his head
And he's a bad boy, 'cause he loves Kris Bryant
He's a bad boy, for cheering too much

Wonderful. Now we're stuck in the CFMB's version of "whose line is it, anyway?"

And he's free, freeballin'

All the Cub fans leaving dear Wrigley
Head to Roscoe's and then Manhole, too
And all the Cub fans are swinging in the nightclubs
But the big heads go home with broken hearts

Go to Wrigleyville on a weeknight during the off season and a good portion of those huge bars are closed. The business model seems to be that they only open on Thursday-Friday nights and then the weekend. Clark Street is like a ghost town. You would never think you were in a young person's community.

I'm not sure the worlds greatest tacos could get me to go to a Honky Tonk filled with Wrigleyville douchebros.

the direction of wrigelyville bars is really indictment on big 10 chad and trixie musical tastes. this will be the 4th country bar with houndstooth, country club and old crow. wrigleyville = wannabe nashville

I know we kid about it but other than a few places Clark and Addison really is starting to resemble Rosemont

I can't believe Shake Shack is working in Chicago. It's pretty average. I guess it gets the bump of "Thing from New York comes to Chicago" but like Crumbs and other stuff I'm sure it will eventually fade away when people realize that it's not anything special.

got sucked into coming for a group outing. review in one word....OVERPRICED. they're gonna print money with all the suckers flocking for the atmosphere. it is a great location right across the wrigley plaza and the whole place has window/walls that will open in warmer temps.

but dude. tacos were either $3.50 or $4. a margarita was $10 and you know they have a huge pre-mixed vat in back.

though, i give the service props. for a new place that's massive the staff is a well oiled machine. food and drink came out timely.

if you need americanized "fancy" tacos just go to big 'n littles on belmont. FAR SUPERIOR for the same prices.

I am shocked that the Murray Brothers Caddyshack didn't open first in Wrigleyville. I suppose they will test run it in Wrigleyville north and then work out a deal with the rickets.

I think the prices are the same as the original in Wicker Park though. It's not like they're gouging with "ballgame prices". They had Lone Star bottles for three bucks on a game day last week.
