Wings are way too much work for too little meat. Same with ribs.

Yep.

Bring'em raw and make someone else cook them.

Trash.

Those look decent

So does fast food in the pictures.

Grilled or fried. Only way to fly.

Properly grilled wings are top notch. My wings are the best, believe me.

I tried his method and can vouch for this.

Yup. Most wings suck. Most ribs do too unless they have a lot of meat.

I like both when they are done right. About 80% of wings and ribs are bone and other waste. The payoff simply is not worth it most of the time IMO.

You guys are right but I still enjoy them done well. I find myself getting brisket or a platter of some sort when I go for BBQ lately.

I've always said KFC needs to add a bucket of skin with a side of gravy to their menu.

I've always said that every KFC just needs to be burnt to the ground.

Jerk chicken seasoning and throw them in a bag with Worcester sauce. Cook them on the top rack of your grill to get them going and then finish them on the main rack until finished. Make sure you have one of those heated transport bags to try and maintain the temp as no one wants cold wings.

i smoke my wings for 45 minutes then fry them for 5.

most places that just fry wings don't fry them long enough. takes a good 15 minutes to get them just right.

Do you have a go to garbage can that you use for wings?

Yeah, I'm with some of you guys on the effort vs. yield factor of ribs, wings, and seafood.
Easier for someone else to go thru the hassle of making them, because they're all good eats.

I save time by putting out a platter of celery, carrots, and blue cheese dip and then tell people the dogs got into the wings so we had to toss them out.

Baked wings at a high temp....mix a ranch packet in some melted butter. Baste those things in it.
Not the healthiest thing in the world...but still probably a little better than deep fried, I suppose.
It's been done a few times. It's prettay, prettay good.
