Finally found a Popeye's that makes a consistently very good sandwich. Delightful. It's amazing how much Popeye's quality varies by location.

Just had Popeyes for dinner on Tuesday and Cajun rice is indeed gone. Wife was not happy.

Oddly enough that was one of the few things I didn't like there. It always had an off putting taste to me.

Maybe I'll make some tomorrow and grab some Popeyes tomorrow anyway.

I’m not a fan of it myself, just my wife. I prefer the red beans and rice.

Do we have a consensus here? I don't love any of them, but haven't had KFC in years. There was a place in Maywood called Golda's and that's what I compare everything to.

Popeye's is pretty good.

I used to like Church's Chicken when we had it in Arlington.

Zatarain's, ground beef, a little of the trinity and some Slap Yo Mamma seasoning. And split between water and chicken stock first along with a little parsley at the end. And Crystal sauce.
