When I was in Colorado earlier this year there was a restaurant chain called Smash Burger in almost every major city out there.

we bought a blackstone this year and we cook smashburgers on it about once every other week. thick burgers suck comparitively.

There was one on 75th street. I went in there maybe five times in a year when I would drop off clothes at the dry cleaners, and I always had a BOGO Groupon. And when I would be waiting, I noticed that at least half the people in line had the same Groupon.

The BOGO made the price tolerable, and I liked the chicken sandwich. But they did not deserve to be in business.

5 guys is superior. I can dig Portillos but it's not really a smashed burger.
