Mayo is stupid and awful. It belongs on nothing. It's even an inferior base to salad dressing compared to sour cream or greek yogurt.

I'm sorry, but did you just advocate for putting ketchup on a turkey sandwich and a roast beef sandwich???

That might be the most disgusting thing I've ever read in this subforum.

I'm not a big ketchup fan. It has it's place, but I would consider it the most overused condiment out there.

It definitely does not belong on any sandwich listed above.

Maybe a burger.

Hot dog...eh its stupid but ok.

But fuck no to those sandwiches

Look at all the sophisticates...

Ketchup has it's place at the top of the condiment pyramid.

My problem is, back in the days of my youth, I worked in the snack bar at the Brunswick in Palatine...and the last thing I had to do was refill the ketchup bottles out of the giant can. The smell alone to this day makes me retch.

Yeah, volumes of ketchup are kinda nauseating.

One of the great, underutilized condiments

Pickapeppa...better than any steak sauce.

Honestly, it's been 24 years and it still gets me every time.

I pissed my wife off last winter...we stopped at the McDonalds drive thru to get the kids some dinner before swim lessons. She got a quarter pounder, opened it while I was driving, and the smell hit me so hard I had to open the window. It was like 10 degrees outside.

Sometimes I'll do mustard and mayo or ketchup and mayo. They mix together well.

Something I'll never understand is mayo on fries.

My wife does the ketchup/mayo combo

I was dubious on the mayo on fries thing until I was in Belgium last fall. The way they fry theirs, it's really good....like the right amount of oily fat with thick, crispy fries that are really soft in the middle. It's not something I do on the regular, but it's not bad.

Yeah I never cared for it until I had it in Europe a few years back. It is pretty good.

The only condiment that should be taken out and shot is Miracle Whip.

I know that my stance on Mayo is very much in the minority. Everyone loves mayo....except me and...

Counter-point: Mayo is delicious on everything.

I've imagined and actually dined on many a BLT with no mayo. It's wonderful. Mayo is just unnecessary slop

Garlic mayo, chipotle mayo, or either aioli on fries is pretty good. Also cilantro ranch on fries.
