You have to admire the creativity.

A Chuck E. Cheese representative told Business Insider that Pasqually's Pizza & Wings is a new, delivery-only premium pizza brand operating from Chuck E. Cheese kitchens.

Reddit user really got it coming and going: first she ordered Chuck E. Cheese delivery, then a journalist wrote a story she gave away for free.

Thirty years ago I lived at Ashland and Byron. We would get these menus either by mail or hung on our door from a place called C.W. Napkin. They had really good pizza and awesome sandwiches. We ordered from there quite often. The menu made it look like a place you would want to go to, kind of upscale. But neither my roommate or I could ever remember driving past it and we couldn't place exactly where it was.

So one day we decided to go to the place in person. We got the address off the menu and drove over there. It was on Broadway or maybe Sheridan in Uptown. So we drove over there and we're looking for the place. I had an idea in my head of what the place might look like. Well, we didn't see it. We drove past the address a couple times and there's no place called C.W. Napkin. But we've got the menu with the address and we've been ordering from there every week.

I came around the block one more time and I know the address has to be right here. There was a shitty old place that looked like it was once a small grocery store and it has a big shitty sign that says PIZZA FACTORY. There's no seating, it's strictly a delivery joint with many drivers running in and out. That was "C.W. Napkin".

We laughed our asses off on Monday evening as we were driving back from the store. There was a Chuck E. Cheese store on the road we were driving and they had signs all over touting they still had carry out/ to go ordering. Who wants that besides a parent with little ones screaming for just that?

Can you still get pitchers of beer at Chuck E Cheese? I know at one time you could.

They serve alcohol. I'm not sure about pitchers.

I thought maybe they only had draft beer. I haven't been inside of one of these in probably 25 years, I just remember my neighbor's dad and a friend taking us a few times and they sat and had beer while we played video games.

It's completely different than when we were kids now. It's clean. No ball pit. No robots.

 Wow. That's good to hear! We'll have to check it out when masks aren't required and my kid is a little older. I would have no problem taking him to an arcade, but that ball pit had to be just crawling with germs.

Showbiz Pizza had the robots, no?

I only went once for a birthday party but it was pretty fun for my then 3 year old. His favorite game was a terminator game shooting robots.

No pitchers...at least at the Gurnee one...we took the kids there for a friend's birthday back in February.

In terms of mass produced shitty pizza, you could do worse. I was actually amazed it wasn't awful.

I remember being at Showbiz in what had to be like 83-84 timeframe, and there was this giant dark room FULL of arcade games, had to have been at least 50 or more. It seems like when they made the change to Chuck E Cheese , there were far less arcade games and more shit like the ball pits . I just wanted to play video games I didn't care about that shit

It's now just video games and tables and a dance floor so it looks like you should borrow a kid and make your way over there when the lockdowns end.

That's where all the kids get to dance when Chuck E. Cheese walks out like a WWE wrestler and does a special birthday party dance for the 7 kids having birthday parties at tables spaced 3 feet apart and throwing tickets out like he's in a rap video.

Has anyone else seen the instructional video for when Chuck E. Cheese bought Showbiz Pizza? It's called "Concept Unification" and it's about how to turn the Showbiz robots into Chuck E. Cheese robots. It has that creepy early '90s production music and denuded robots.

I think I went there around the same period. Maybe a few years later, but I was 5 or 6. I remember it being dark and packed with games. Once they changed to Chuck E Cheese they took out 50 percent of the games and made it brighter and cleaner. Not as good
