Dang, this is the BEST pot pie I have ever had.

Juicy chunks of chicken, tasty, crispy veggie, flaky non-soggy butter crust?

Yummm.

The very best pot pie you will have,

Not heavy and doughy like you would think. Very lite, and very tasty.

Most pot pies taste like you dumped a can of cream of chicken soup inside a pie crust - not this one.

Try it - you will LOVE it. Very inexpensive too.

Get the chicken pot pie manhole cover they sell at Costco.

Easily feeds a decent-sized family and is pretty damn good as pot pies go.

If I remember correctly, though, you could easily find a random egg on the side of the road, raise a chicken, slaughter it, steal some neighbor's vegetables, marry an old widow woman that makes a great pie crust, prep, and cook a pot pie in the time it takes to cook the Costco one.

Still, it's worth it.

My wife does a great chicken pot pie from scratch and while its a little time consuming, its pretty simple and always delicious. Its also great for leftovers and freezes well for a couple of weeks.

The costco one is good. The chicken is juicy and chunky, but the dough is too , well, "dough-y" compared to KFC's flaky butter crust.

Makes all the difference.

One gives you a very heavy feel, the other is light, crispy and fluffy.
